PMU Removal with Li-FT

Li-FT is a saline-based solution used for the removal of permanent makeup (PMU) and small tattoos. This non-laser method involves using a specially formulated liquid to lift and extract unwanted pigments from the skin, providing a safer and less invasive alternative to laser tattoo removal.

Uses

  • Eyebrow Tattoos: Correcting shape, size, or color of eyebrow tattoos.

  • Eyeliner Tattoos: Removing or adjusting improperly applied eyeliner.

  • Lip Tattoos: Fading or removing undesired lip color tattoos.

  • Small Body Tattoos: Suitable for small body tattoos needing correction or removal.

Prosedure

  • Consultation: The process begins with a consultation to evaluate the tattoo and discuss the client's goals. The practitioner will determine the number of sessions needed.

  • Preparation: The treatment area is cleaned and prepared for the procedure.

  • Application: The Li-FT solution is applied using a tattoo machine or manual method (similar to microblading tools). The solution penetrates the skin to reach the tattoo pigments.

  • Extraction: The Li-FT solution works by breaking down the pigments and drawing them to the skin’s surface. A scab forms as the skin heals, and as the scab falls off, it takes the pigment with it.

  • Healing: After the procedure, the treated area will heal, and the process may need to be repeated several times to achieve the desired results.

Sessions

  • Multiple Sessions Required: Depending on the depth and density of the pigment, multiple sessions (typically 2-6) are required.

  • Intervals: Sessions are spaced 6-8 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal completely.

Benefits

  • Non-Laser: Suitable for those who cannot undergo laser removal due to skin type, pigment color, or sensitivity.

  • Effective: Can remove a wide range of pigment colors that lasers might not address effectively.

  • Precise: Allows targeted removal of specific areas without affecting surrounding skin.

Considerations

  • Healing Time: The area will form a scab and require proper aftercare to avoid infection and ensure optimal results.

  • Skin Sensitivity: Some redness, swelling, or minor discomfort may occur, usually subsiding within a few days.

  • Practitioner Skill: The effectiveness and safety of the procedure depend significantly on the practitioner's experience and skill.

Aftercare

  • Keep Area Dry: Avoid getting the treated area wet for the first few days to ensure proper scab formation.

  • Avoid Picking: Do not pick or scratch the scab to prevent scarring and ensure effective pigment removal.

  • Follow Instructions: Adhere to all aftercare instructions provided by the practitioner, which may include applying a healing ointment and avoiding sun exposure.
